Mehmet Gokce earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial & Labor Relations from Cornell University. After taking a few years between his undergraduate and graduate studies, he attended Columbia Law School where he held a summer law clerk position at a prestigious Manhattan law firm in their Trademark and Copyright Litigation group. Upon graduating from law school, Mr. Gokce chose to follow a path in criminal justice at the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office where he was a prosecuting attorney in the Anti-Gang/Anti-Gun Unit which handled the most heinous and dangerous violent gang offenses in the county. After serving the people of Nassau County, Mr. Gokce transitioned into civil practice where he investigated massive cases of insurance fraud and brought Federal RICO cases against fraudulent medical providers on behalf of insurance companies. Over the course of the past several years Mr. Gokce’s civil litigation experience has ranged from working on behalf of injured plaintiffs to insurance defense. This has allowed him to accumulate vast knowledge from both the plaintiff’s perspective and the defendant’s perspective. Mr. Gokce joined Rosenberg & Gluck in 2021 as an associate where he is able to put his accumulated knowledge as both a plaintiff’s attorney and an insurance defense attorney to use in diligently advocating for the firm’s clients. Mr. Gokce has obtained favorable verdicts following jury trials and summary judgment motions and handles all aspects of litigation in the firm’s practice areas. Mr. Gokce was admitted to practice law in New York State in 2004. He is also admitted to both the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York since 2007.
