At the law firm of Rosenberg & Gluck, LLP our Long Island personal injury lawyers see first-hand the devastation of motor vehicle collisions. Some of these accidents could have been avoided if responsible choices had been made before driving. The purpose of offering these scholarships was not only to help a student offset the cost of college or trade school but also to raise awareness on this issue.
We asked to hear from our local youth on ways to prevent someone from getting behind the wheel when impaired so this year’s topic was: THE EFFECTS OF DRUNK/IMPAIRED DRIVING.
We had such great entries this year, we also added an Honorable Mention ($250) to Ben Sonsire-Cummings from Ward Melville High School
