Preventative Care – 2 Stars

The NY State Department of Health rating for preventative care at Island Nursing and Rehab Center is 2 stars. This rating encompasses information about pneumonia and flu vaccination status for both long-stay and short-stay residents. 90.8% of long stay residents were assessed and appropriately given the pneumonia vaccine and 97% were given the flu vaccine. 74.9% of short-stay residents were assessed and given the pneumonia vaccine and 79.7% were given the seasonal flu jab.
